2nd Grade

Well, Aidan started second grade last week.  It seems like his childhood is zipping by in a flash.  Sometimes I wish I could hit the pause button, or at least the slow motion button.  It's going so fast I can hardly catch my breath.  I hope we're teaching him all that he needs and supplying him with lots of happy memories too.  I realized yesterday that he's going to be 8 soon!  If the next 8 years go by as fast as the first, he's going to be driving the next time I turn around.

So, here are some fast facts about our precious 2nd grader.  His favorite food is grilled salmon with macaroni and cheese, asparagus, crescent rolls and salad with ranch dressing.  He LOVES Star Wars and Legos.  He is reading like a pro and his math skills are off the charts.  He loves music, monster trucks and video games.  He is trying to learn how to ride his skateboard better.  He loves being outside riding his bike, scooter, flying turtle or skateboard.  He wants to be a pilot, or an artist or just like Tony Hawk when he grows up.  He is a great big brother, although sometimes his sister drives him crazy.  He has lots of fun in cub scouts and wants to become an Eagle scout.  His favorite place to be is with his Pawpaw and Nana.  His best friends are Logan and Landry, Cade and his Pawpaw.  His teacher loves football, so Aidan has been wearing football t-shirts to school as much as possible.  At school, PE is his favorite.  Most importantly, he is CRAZY about his mommy.
